How to steal stuff
You commission a work. We create it. Unique and handmade.
We send you a digital reproduction of the work, together with the agreed usage rights. You don’t pay us for the work. In return, you become part of our Social Impact Portfolio. We reserve the right to show the work we created for you, together with the website, social media account, or other digital application for which it was commissioned, as an example of what happens when real human creativity is used in a digital environment.
Here is how you do it
Tell us who you are…
Use our contact page to commission a work. Please tell us where you intend to use it: which website, social media account, publication, or other digital application.
This gives us an idea of who you are, what you are, and what the work should feel like.
…and what you want.
Pick a font, visual style, or other inspiration from our site. There aren’t many yet—we’re growing.
Then describe what you need.
It could be text, artwork, a logo, a picture composition, a texture, an illustration, or something we haven’t thought of yet.
Then we decide.
We review every commission request individually.
We reserve the right to accept or decline any request, without obligation to provide a reason.
If we accept your request, one of our crafters creates the work specifically for you.
Once it is finished, we send you the resulting digital file by email together with the applicable usage rights.
That exact file is yours.
We will not provide the same file to another commissioner. Someone else may commission a work in a similar style, but they will receive their own original work.
What happens if you don’t like it?
If at first you don’t succeed…
If you’re not satisfied with the result, you can request an adjustment. We will review the request and, just like an original commission, reserve the right to accept or decline it.
One more thing
By accepting a commission, you agree that we may display the completed work in our Social Impact Portfolio, together with the digital application for which it was created.
If, for example, you commissioned a piece for your website, we may show the work and identify or link to that website as part of our portfolio.
We believe that showing the work in its context is an important part of demonstrating what this project is about.

Who are the crafters?
To put it simply, we are a small team of people with two things in common. We are compulsive-obsessive-creative, and we are navigating life with a disability. Actually, three things: we love good coffee. Ok, four: we are all a quirky kind of strange. I guess we have a lot in common. Meet the crafters here.
Social impact
This is not a charity project. At least it shouldn’t be. We are convinced of the value of our products. But value can be measured in many ways. Social impact is one of them.
Every commission gives one of our crafters an opportunity to make something real. This reality is then introduced into your digital environment: It becomes part of your website, social media account, publication, or other digital application. The crafters work is recognized as something of use, of value: giving your online presence a heartbeat.
We document these collaborations in our Social Impact Portfolio. This gives our crafters something tangible to show for their work: their creativity, their contribution, and the places where their work is being used.
And the more people commission work, the more we can grow.
Our long-term goal is to bring more creative crafters into the project, expand the range of things we can create, and build a forum where the disability is not the issue.
It’s about our products giving your internet presence that little something that is flagrantly lacking online: a soul.
The Elegance
So, commissioning is free of charge. Voluntary across the board. No invoice. No tiny shopping cart quietly following you around. Just steal it.
But if you like what we are doing and you think there should be more organic/human/analog content out there… well, there is something you can do:
Your support brings more crafters into the project with new creative ideas and capabilities. Generally, just more and better stuff to steal.
Supporters receive a Social Impact Seal that they can display on their website, social media account, or basically wherever you want. Proof of your support for human creativity in the digital world.
We want to grow. We want to become self-sustainable. We hope to grow out of our GoFundMe diapers into something larger. The plans are developing, but we need your help.
